Build, Create, Success Methodology Introduced in Kazakhstan for the Decorative Finishes Industry

A new methodology titled Build, Create, Success has been introduced in Kazakhstan as a practical business approach for companies working with decorative plasters, finishing systems, and designer materials.

The methodology was developed by Ihor Stadolskii — a member of The Decorative Arts Trust, an expert in textured plaster and decorative finishes, and the founder and owner of Ckada LLC. His approach redefines decorative finishes not merely as an element of interior design, but as a strategic tool for increasing profitability and gaining a competitive advantage. The concept combines contemporary design with clear economic logic, enabling companies to move into the premium segment of the market.

At the core of Build, Create, Success is a simple principle: every design decision should be not only visually appealing, but also financially justified. Colours, textures, materials, and 3D effects are evaluated based on their impact on property value and the overall profitability of a project.

According to Ihor Stadolskii:
“Today, decorative finishes are a полноценный business tool that directly influences both the value of a property and a company’s financial performance.”

Practical application of the methodology shows that companies can increase project profitability by 30–50%, operate with margins of 35–50%, and reduce the return-on-investment period for design solutions to 4–6 months.

Another key principle of the approach is moving away from price-based competition in favour of creating added value for the client.

“When design is supported by clear calculations, businesses stop competing on price alone and begin to generate revenue through uniqueness, quality, and trust,” Stadolskii notes.

The Build, Create, Success methodology is positioned as a practical business system that helps companies in the decorative finishes sector achieve sustainable growth, scale their operations, and strengthen their position in the premium market segment.

The methodology has already received positive feedback in the U.S. market as well as in post-Soviet countries. It has been highly appreciated by both industry practitioners and representatives of the academic community.

Among those who have recognised the approach are Dmitry Dovzhenko, founder and owner of Wallcana (USA), and Ihor Ivasiuk, owner and lead specialist of Microcement Art Studio.

The work has also received strong expert evaluation from professors at leading  universities.
